I think about buying the “FloBLE Module : NFC for DIY makers”. Can I use it to built a device which will scan a certain Wallet Pass and sent the successful NFC transaction to my SmartHome Broker which will then unlock my door?

I want to connect the reader to an ESP32. The whole system will be battery powered and will only power on for a certain amount of time when a button is pressed to conserve energy.

Hello Ich, although the FloBLE Module can work for your use case the better option is to go with a FloVAS Mini. It supports UART as well as USB so will be easier to integrate with your ESP32 microcontroller.
