Hi guys!
Good news from trying to extend the band-aid! we were able to attach another 30in of wire for 41″ of reach. Granted, the signal is a little weaker, but it still works! Ideally, we’d like to have 1 continuous wire, so you’ll see a request in the works from us to ask you to make us one that’s 41″ long.

Patricia, that’s awesome!! Thanks for feedback… our new patch design is much more efficient at capturing the NFC interface energy so the product will only be getting better. We’re looking to offer this new product to our customers before the end of the month.

The NFC BandAid can be designed to work with any NFC reader device, however it’s a matter of demand. It takes about considerable engineering effort to support a new device, so we need a minimum order of 100 to consider it. Basically, it costs around $7500 for us to design and manufacture an NFC BandAid for a new device.
