Home › Forums › Ask the Flomies › State of iOS SDK? Need iPad support
Hi,
We are looking to support the ACS NFC reader for use with iPads.
However, in researching your product, it appears that the current iOS SDK is deprecated.
Some questions for you:
1. Is there a newer version of the SDK available once a license is paid that is iOS compatible?
2. If not, is there a way to implement the javascript SDK within iOS for reading NFC cards? (not sure how this would work).
3. We’d love to discuss alternative licensing options with you. Is the current device ID per SDK tied to the ACS hardware ID or the native device ID? Regardless we are a large SaaS company that would be looking for a way to possibly use a global SDK key across lots of devices and would be open to discussing terms.
Thanks,
-Neil
Just to clarify, it’s this model: ACR1255U-J1
