Good day,
Has anyone been able to get the Bluetooth running on a Linux system? I have gotten the USB to running, but that defies the point of having Bluetooth.
Thank you
George
Hi George, we do have support for Linux through a JavaScript implementation of our Flomio SDK that we’ve been testing in private beta. You will have to run it on top of the NodeJs framework with the NoBle npm module installed. If you’re interested we can share that with you to see if it addresses your needs.
Let me know,
Richard
Hi Richard,
Thank you for the reply. I have been able to get it up and running with python on linux using bluepy. There were a few gotchas, but I managed to get passed them.

George
Nice, thanks for feedback. If you have issues handling the auth process or power management, let us know.
best,
Richard
Hi Richard,
Thanks, got that all sorted already. The documentation could have been more clear, but I managed. Big learning curve, so if I can spare anyone the heartache, don’t hesitate to ask.

George
Hey guys. I’m also trying to connect ACR1255U-J1 through Bluetooth, unsuccessfully so far. Is there any way you can share your implementation on Javascript or Python.
Thank you

Is there an exampled I can try for acs nfc acr1255u?
I’d love to make my ACR1255U-J1 work, either with windows, Linux or on Android. But it seems to me the entry gap is too long for me. I made the demo applicaiton to work, learned some about the compllicated authentication/encryption, but never succeeded to make a sigle step to make any example application to work on any platform. Just the demo that just proven the hardware works.
Any idea or suggestions? Does anyone have a working example that reads NFC tag that I could reuse and start from there?
Thanks
