Hello,
I’ve purchased ACR35 reader via Flomio and I haven’t been able to get it to work either with android or iphone devices.
I’ve charged it and tried with these models:
1. Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus, Android 4.4.4
2. Iphone 4, iOS 7.1.2
3. Iphone 5S
4. Iphone 6I’ve used NFC tags that work well with the Galaxy S2 internal reader and used flomio app.
ACS mobile mate app is not working with the reader at all of the phones mentioned.Since I’ve sent this message to the support team I’ve came across this thread: https://flomio.com/forums/topic/acr35-compatibility/
I’ve downloaded AJ demo App from github to my Samsung Galaxy device and managed to connect to the reader. However, I’ve managed only to read magnetic swipe cards and none of the NFC tags (which the device’s internal reader reads well).
What other tests can I try with the scanner?
I really need to get the NFC working soon with the iPhones. Thanks,

June 24, 2015 at 10:24 am #53037Hi,
So ACS got back to me and asked to try the newer version of their app.
I’ve managed to test it on an iphone 6 and it seems to work: I get a number when I’m testing ATR (answer to reset) with a NFC sticker.
However, The flomio app isn’t working yet wuth those stickers on the iphone (It does work with them an android and the internal NFC reader, not the jack).
Do you have any updates?
Thanks,
ZivJune 24, 2015 at 4:33 pm #53041Hey Ziv, we have made some progress on the Flomio SDK but still haven’t released the latest version of the NFC Actions app. I sent you an invitation via iTunes Connect to beta test out the Flomio SDK app… this is a simple but functional app that lets you read NFC Type 2 tags include MiFare Ultralight, Classic, Mini, and NTAG. Let me know once you get a chance to try it out on the iPhone6 to hear if you encounter any issues.
thanks,
Richard -
