Hi Richard,
I just sent the paypal request to Info@Flomio.com for $24.99. What are the next steps to reading data from an NFC tag? The instructions on this https://flomio.com/flojack/#setting_up_flojack page describes how to read the UUID of the NFC tag, but does not describe how to read data from the tag. Kindly send me instructions.
Thanks,
RilwanNovember 8, 2015 at 11:26 am #53704I did just send you an email with my Card ReaderID and a copy of the Paypal SDK payment receipt.

November 8, 2015 at 8:18 pm #53707Have you received my ReaderID and the Paypal payment? I sent my reader ID to info@flomio.com this morning. I still have not received any instructions on how to access the basic SDK.

November 9, 2015 at 12:56 pm #53716I’ve got a deadline to show my team that Flomio Jack can read NFC tags. I need access to the SDK ASAP. Kindly send the information I need to get things going.

November 9, 2015 at 1:51 pm #53718Hello Rilwan,
Sorry for the delay, I was out of town during the weekend. We haven’t received the ReaderID, please send it to me to boris [at] flomio [dot] com, once you are able to get the SDK running you’ll have the method
– (void)didFindATagUUID:(NSString *)UUID fromDevice:(NSString *)deviceId
of the ReaderManagerDelegate, that method sends the tag UUID to the UUID string.
Cheers,
Boris
November 9, 2015 at 3:34 pm #53722Hey Boris,
What is the quickest way for me to scan a tag and have the data show up on my Android Device?? I need to demo this by tomorrow morning. Do I have to write a custom App to do this??
Thanks,
RilwanNovember 13, 2015 at 10:30 am #53813Hi Rilwan, we sent you our Flomio SDK sample app via Apple TestFlight yesterday. It was sent to the @yahoo.com email you provided. Here are the basic steps to install and get going with it:
- Install the SDK app.
- Launch the app.
- Raise the volume of your device to the max.
- Choose Flojack from the menu.
- Plug in the FloJack reader.
- Raise the volume of your device once again.
- Place an ISO14443A NFC Forum Type 2 tag on the surface of the FloJack (over the Flomio Spark logo)
- You should witness scan entries posted on the screen and hear an audible sound.
best,
Richard -
