Tagged: VAS scanners
Hello,
I am looking for a reader to use for reading Apple VAS cards.
I have another service for generating my own cards that I load into an Apple Wallet.
This service performs the encryption on the cards and will decrypt the cards for me if I supply info read out of the card from a VAS NFC reader.
So I am looking for a hardware device that will let me scan the cards from Apple Wallet and then give me the encrypted contents so I can pass it back to this service to decrypt.
I am considering using the FloVAS desk scanner for this.
I wanted to ask if the FlowVAS reader will work as a standalone reader for reading Apple VAS cards generated from other sources, or if it requires integration with the PassNinja service to work?
Thank you,
Jade
Hi Jade, sorry for the late reply. Yes, the FloVAS can be configured to read Apple VAS and Google SmartTap cards independent of PassNinja. Were you able to get it to work?
best,
Richard
