Tagged: Flomio Test, red light
Hi,
I have not made a purchase under this account but I bought three of Flojack BZR through my instructor at college for exhibition purpose. (I could ask the instructor to send you confirmation email) The device I connect to is iPad Pro.
I followed the steps provided from https://flomio.com/flojack/#setting_up_flojack
The problem occurs as the device doesn’t show green light but red light with a beeping when connected to any device (includes iphone 6, galaxy 6) I searched through forums regarding this but I did not see clear answer to this issue.
Could you please address what I should do to just make it connect to iPad?
Many thanks.
Hi Rex, I just sent you our Flomio Test application via TestFlight to your email on file. This will allow you to sanity check that your hardware is functioning properly and you’re using the supported NFC tags. Let me know if that works for you and then we can start working through what issues you’re encountering with the Flomio SDK itself.
best,
Richard
Hi Richard,
The chip I am planning to use is Ntag216 Chip which is from
http://www.dx.com/p/ntag216-chip-888-bytes-13-56mhz-smart-tags-compatible-with-all-nfc-phone-6-pcs-407707?tc=CAD&gclid=Cj0KEQiAl4TGBRDhgvmikdHPsdABEiQAtBcc8HZnexcx-02FPkCDQO3u92z0RKcaOnkDFgLp8ZIEBuEaAn228P8HAQ#.WN2aVmg1-Ul
Is this applicable?
I am planning to use the NFC in a local website that will be present on the iPad pro. I am hoping I could use web NFC API to use the NFC chip data as an input sign to display a corresponding website. How do you think I should manipulate the data from the chip using a software from your company?
Hi Rex, to connect the FloJack BZR with the iPad Pro you will need an app since web browsers on iOS don’t support processing audio. We have a Flomio Test app that works with the FloJack BZR that we can send you via TestFlight to experiment and become familiar with the Flomio SDK functionality.
hope that helps,
Richard
