Connection Status not Working

Hi, I am trying to determine whether the device is connected using the Basic SDK. When I check the connection status variable, it always returns the state that it is “Scanning”, even though I am connected to the device? I am also using the FloBLE Reader.

I expected it should change on - (void)didUpdateConnectedDevices:(NSArray *)devices

Just to continue on with the discussion. It does change over from Scanning to Disconnected when I turn off the reader… Just not really sure why there is a connection constant that seems to not be used.

Hi Zack, I just sent you our Flomio Test application via TestFlight to your email on file. This will allow you to sanity check that your hardware is functioning properly and you’re using the supported NFC tags. Let me know if that works for you and then we can start working through what issues you’re encountering with the Flomio SDK itself.
