Extension Cable for Reader

We are placing small round “metal” tags on pieces of farm machinery. The mounting of the reader on an iPhone or iPad limited where we could place the tag and still read it. One of our guys, who has his iPhone in an Otter Box, came up with the idea of using a Mic Extension cable. Even a 6′ cable works like a charm.

Glad to hear that. We sell a this 24in extension cable for that purpose but happy to learn that it works up to 6ft as well. We’ve yet to test our audio jack readers on iPhone 7/7+ where the audio connector has been removed so if you get a chance to verify that, please let us know here.
