Hi,

I just wanted to know where I can get the SDK for Android.

Do I need to purchase a FloBLE Plus and this will be sent also?

Hi Andy, that’s correct. The Flomio SDK is downloadable here but is only licensed for devices purchased from us. You’ll see from the SDK bundle two folders, Android and iOS. Following the README instructions in each will walk you through building a simple app that scans NFC tags with our line of reader.

Many thanks for your swift reply.

Our developers couldn’t see the SDK for Android and panicked. I’ll get purchasing a device and we can begin!

Just one question. I am seeing the Bluetooth NFC Reader and Writer ACR1255U being advertised elsewhere and wondered what exactly was different. I guess your development kits make all the difference 🙂

Hi Andy, the ACR1255U-J1 and the FloBLE Plus are hardware equivalents. Only difference is FloBLE Plus is licensed to work with the Flomio SDK. More details on this thread.
