FloJack BZR charging issue

Does the FloJack BZR only charge through usb or does the audio jack provide power (I know dumb question, still going to ask). How long is the battery life?

The FloJack is designed to only charge via USB. No power is harvested across the audio jack. The battery is 780mAh and lasts for roughly 5000 tag scans.
