Flomio SDK vs. ACS Android EVK?

Hi,

I’m interested in purchasing the ACS ACR1255U-J1 bluetooth reader. What is the difference between the paid Flomio SDK and simply using the manufacturer’s Android EVK (https://www.acs.com.hk/en/mobile-support/)?

Hi Derrick, the difference is that we add support for reader management, app layer services like NDEF decoding, and mode control for Card Emulation (CE) or Enhanced Contactless Polling (ECP). We have deprecated support for native iOS or Android as our Javascript version of the SDK is agnostic to the platform and effective. More details on docs.flomio.com
