Will the Gema NFC super tags work fine with an iPhone + flojack?
Will it work as intended with this configuration: i put my iphone in the rectangle ‘put your phone here’ and pushing the buttons gets some actions done?
Thank you
Hi Nicolas, boy you have been active on our forum.. AWESOME!! The GemaTouch tags don’t work so well with the FloJack, unfortunately. The reason is because the Gema Super Tags are very large and the FloJack is very small. In order for NFC to work well, the size of the tag needs to be close to the size of the reader scan surface or antenna. The FloJack was designed to work with tags that were 32mm round or smaller. You typically find tags like this on stickers and wristbands. GenaTouch tags were designed to work with NFC phones which have a bigger scan surface or antenna.
That’s not to say that the FloJack can’t read Gema Super tags. Check out this video where we’re reading a Gema tag with a FloJack connected through an audio extension cable.

OK, thank you for your answer!
So, with the Gema and ios, i need to scan each tag that i press with flojack, instead of putting my phone on the sheet and then press (like an android phone would do), right?
Just realized: If Gema touch tags supports only cloud actions: it can’t be used with the ios app, right?
as the ios app does not support yet cloud action, i won’t be able to write on gema touch tags, i presume?
Thank you
As i can’t edit my previous question, i’ll add this to be clear:
it seems Gema only work with cloud actions, is it really or can i use Gema buttons as 5 quick NFC stickers? Is the storage big enough to support non cloud action on a single button (ie 5 non cloud actions in total)?
Thank you
