Tagged: app for reading NFC card
Hi guys. Great blog and products you have there. The risk of NFC is that cards can be read from a short distance and cloned to another card. We are launching an Avoid Skimming Card which you place between the cards and which then creates a kind of sheeld making skimming “inpossible”. I want to proof to my customers how easy it is to skim their bankcard, entrypas or hotelroom key to show them what is read from these passes. I would like an basic app which activates my ACS ACR122 card reader on my MacBook and then shows the content of the card. I don’t need to show all numbers (middle can be ****). This way my customers see the risk and want to start selling our product. Who can help me out here?
Hi Rob, we don’t currently have software available for the ACR122U on our site since we’ve pivoted to focus mainly on our mobile compatible NFC readers. That said there’s plenty of available software out on the internets that work with the ACR122U. Here are a couple examples that you can try:
I’ve work with this company in the past for Mac NFC software: https://www.nfcideas.com/macapp
