Hi
I’d like to integrate the Flojack with an board based on Arduino . Is it possible to command the FloJack and read data connecting the audio jack to the Arduino IO pins ?
Any idea how to do it? Which Arduino Pins have to be connected? How to control (ask to read / Write) the FloJack from Arduino?
THX,
Fulvio
Hey Fluvio, this integration is definitely possible and because of the way we built the FloJack, relatively easy. We’ve actually planned for this type application and included a breakout connector on the FloJack that brings out JTAG, UART, and Power. You can see this connection pointed out in the picture below. We will be offering a breakout flex for hardware developers looking to augment the FloJack like you want to.
The same FloJack Communication Protocol capture in our iOS and Android SDKs would then need to be implemented on your Arduino. This will allow you to interact with the FloJack in the same way our iOS apps do. Once we get the FloJack shipments out (that’s our focus these days) we’ll be working to formalize many of the things I mention here. Stay tuned.

Hi Richard,
Thank you for your answer.
I’m working on the iOS app in order to “translate” to work for Arduino.
Do you have already release a FlowChart diagram that can show how the protocol works and how to use the call? I think it would be usefull, and of course, easy for everybody.
Thank you!
I’m looking forward to start to play with it!
BTW: Any news about the shipping?
Fulvio
Fulvio,
Order shipments are continuing to go out, it’s all a matter of where your order sits in the queue at this point. Thank you for your posts and continued patience.
