NFC Actions – write not working

Hello,
I just received the FloBLE Plus and downloaded the NFC Actions app. My Samsung 7 has NFC enabled.

1. In NFC Actions, I created several write tags.
2. I click a write tag and it says “No Tag Present, please present a tag and then write to it”.
3. I tap my Samsung 7 onto the reader.
4.The reader beeps but nothing happens in NFC Actions.
5. When I go to the Read page and tap my phone, it says “No Ndef Payload found.”

Please help me understand why the app is not writing to my phone? Thank you so much!

Also, is it possible to identify a phone upon tapping it to the Floble without writing a tag to it? For example does each phone that taps the Floble have a unique ID?
