Hi, I wanted to know if buying your reader there is the possibility to hook it to an ipad and to read links inserted in an nfc by automatically loading the page without having the need to have a specific app open.
Thanks.
Hi Marco, our NFC readers require an app to function. So for your iPad to read an NFC tag and automatically open a webpage, you would need an app like NFC Actions.
best,
Richard
Excuse me, but if I opened type chrome, and put a nfc, does nfc action automatically open the link on chrome or do I have to have the nfc actions open?
You have to have NFC Actions open and in the foreground for it to open a link in Chrome. That being said, our NFC readers are able to connect to some versions of Chrome using the Web Bluetooth API and without an app per se. Unfortunately though Web Bluetooth API is still not supported by any browsers that run on iOS.
best,
Richard
