I wish to source a series of NFC tags/labels with identical UIDs and BCC checksums.
This apparently rather unusual use case is critical for a smart city/asset tracking application whereby I wish to ‘hide’ the in-built uniqueness of NFC tags from others’ readers. I do want uniqueness of course, but I wish to achieve this using private key encryption so that each time a reader taps the tag, it gets a different one-time generated NDEF message; my app includes a private key so it is able to decrypt the one-time generated NDEF message to yield the tag’s PRIVATE unique ID.
I can’t imagine any of the big boys being prepared to provide these, but are there any niche manufacturers out there who might? Here is a summary of what I am looking for:
* Blank/writeable UID or single UID and BCC checksum for the whole batch
* Private key-able (something akin to NXP’s Secure Unique NFC Message on their NTAG 424)
* On-metal format
