Dear Flomies,
I bought the FloJack MSR : NFC reader w/ SDK and Swiper a while ago.
Unfortunately I hadn’t the time to try the reader earlier, but today
I tried to connect it with my iPhone 6s and iPad 3 (after charging the FloJack on the MacBook). When I open the App and go to “Log Tag” there is always “Scanning for readers”…No FloJack found! The little green light just lighted up once…
I really need the FloJack working, because it is part of my master’s presentation!
Please help me.
What’ s wrong with the reader?September 3, 2017 at 4:49 am #60867When I try the reader with the ACS mobilemate it says: “the reader is not responding” and “the flash data is corrupted”.
What to do?September 12, 2017 at 9:08 am #60935The NFC Actions app does not support the Flojack MSR.
ScottSeptember 12, 2017 at 12:27 pm #60942But which App supports the reader? I just want to write and read NFC tags with iPad 2. Can I do this with the TestFlight app?
I am a bit confused..September 13, 2017 at 2:55 pm #60979Hi Carolin, the Flomio Test app support all of our readers including FloJack MSR but doesn’t implement the write function as the NFC Actions app does. You can subscribe to the Flomio Test (MW) TestFlight group here:

RichardSeptember 15, 2017 at 2:28 am #61022Thank you for your help, Richard!
I installed the app and when I open it with the flojack connected it looks like this:serial number – Battery – Disconnected
I don’t understand why it says disconnected?
Furthermore I have got the option to click on the advice to see Device Details!
But how is it possible to write or scan tags now?Sorry for all the questions, but I really like to get it work!

CarolinSeptember 15, 2017 at 6:24 pm #61027Hmm.. it’s probably because the device is discharged or the volume on the iPhone is not raised all the way up. Can you check that?
no sweat on the questions… we’re here to help! it’s also helpful to search across the Forums since many times same questions have been addressed with previous customers.

RichardSeptember 16, 2017 at 2:13 am #61072The device is charged 100 percent and the volume on the iPhone is raised up.
I tried the device on another iPhone and iPad 2 and iPad mini. Always the same problem…I already searched across the forum, but I didn’t find an answer.I have got the problem, that I need the device working for a presentation
on that I like to use the NFC technology for an exhibition in which the
exhibit are NFC tagged. The presentation is coming closer and I am not really confident to get the device working :-/So, I am very grateful for your support!
