None of iOS devise (iPhone 6 runs 8.1, iPhone 5S runs 7) are able to recognize Flomio tags. FloJack isrecognized, but not able to read/write tags.
November 17, 2014 at 11:58 pm #28089Any news on this? Other topics are being answered, while this one ignored. Is there Ab specific reason to ignore?
November 18, 2014 at 12:03 am #28092The MobileMate app returns The flash data is corrupted. Any advice?
November 24, 2014 at 7:52 am #29337I also have this problem. I have plugged my new Flojack into numerous iOS devices – the NFC Actions app fails to read any cards. Please advise.
November 24, 2014 at 10:15 pm #29460Hey Anton, sorry but seems I missed this post. The FloJack v2 has limited software support at the moment and requires that you prepare a mobile app of your own to read/write tags. More details about that on this post.
We are working to get the FloJack v2 hardware supported on the NFC Actions app in order to make working with the device much easier. We plan to have this released along with the Flomio SDK by December 1st, 2014 as discussed here.
Also, to understand the difference between FloJack v1 and v2 you can read up on this post.
November 25, 2014 at 8:20 am #29552Richard, thank you for reply. As the vast majority of apple user I used to plug’n’play operations, so didn’t expect Flomio requires the app to be prepared by the user. Do I understand correctly that as of December tech dummies like me would be able to use it without any coding, just USE it?
November 25, 2014 at 4:03 pm #29616Yup, that’s the idea. We’re looking to release a new version of the NFC Actions application for NFC nooBs to use as well as a Flomio SDK for web developers to get into the game as well. It’s a tall stack to get done but the 4 of us are hustling to get it done.
November 25, 2014 at 4:41 pm #29621Very good to know. I was going to request return, as taking into consideration my skill level current configuraion is useless for me. But would definitely hold until Dec 01 to see and try the improved app version.
February 6, 2015 at 11:25 pm #42240Did this new SDK get released? I am still seeing flash memory corrupted errors on iOS 7
