Hi Darren, today I learned concrete details of the production status on the NFC Patch Kits. I was mistaken with my last update. The production line has still not been setup and current schedule is putting delivery well beyond the March 23rd date we were initially told. Given that our order volume is still relatively small at 500 units, it’s hard to make demands with factories fulfilling million dollar orders. The only option that we now have is to make a shorter run just for your 40 units at a prototyping center and manually fulfill your order by March 23rd. Because of the loss of economies of scale, we will have to charge you an extra fee of $1200 to cover our costs of building this order manually. Otherwise, we can refund your order entirely and re-engage once we have our production units in stock.
I’m deeply sorry for the challenges, we are anxious to grow our business so we can offer better response time on our products while keeping price points low enough for creatives to try things out.
