Tagged: Murata Magicstrap as a sticker
Dear Sirs
I would like to ask you about the smallest NFC tag that you can provide as a sticker?
Sticker must be relatively small with an effective adhesive. How is the software that allows the user to enter some data and on what basis it is being done? Is it possible to create such a sticker with the murata magicstrap?
We want to storage: name, nickname, e-mail, no phone.
Graphic design sticker could be deliver at a later date (it will have 2 colors), but I wanted to recognize what about preparation technology, the cost of preparing and limits that can be ordered.
If you have any questions, I remain at your disposal.
Best regards
Sebastian Szajter
Hi Sebastian, the Murata Magicstrap comes with adhesive to apply it as a sticker. It doesn’t have a printable surface however. We provide a Flomio SDK that works with iOS and the FloJack at the moment to read and write data to the tags. On Android there are several free tag writers you can find on the Android Store for the same.
It is possible to create a printable sticker with the Magicstrap product and to dynamically encode it with the details you included (name, nickname, e-mail, and phone number). The cost in volume of the Magicstrap in volume (1000+) is $1.70/ea and to add printable sticker material and dynamically encode them would another $0.35/ea. That means you’re looking at approximately $2.05/sticker in quantities of 1000+ for Magicstrap printable stickers (setup and delivery charges not included).
thanks,
Richard
