Read an Android HCE rag on iOS

Hello flomios,

I’ve seen a video where you read an Android hce type 4 with an iPhone.

I have emulated a type 4 on Android, but still, nothing shows up when reading with iPhone nfc scan.

Is Flomio SDK the missing piece I need to get the magic done?

Hi Erick,

We have a device that can emulate an NFC tag and be read by both iOS and Android. Here is a video of it in action using the Flomio SDK.

With regards to emulating a tag on an Android, CoreNFC on iOS only reads NDEF formatted tags so you must make sure there is NDEF formatted data in your emulated tag on Android, that may be your issue.
