RFID Reader Awake continuously

Hi,

I am testing Flomio RFID readers FloJack MSR and FloBLE Plus, and looking for some advice:

1. If we continuously charge and continuously keep the RFID in awake state (always listening or sensing) instead of putting the reader back to sleep, is there any impact on the RFID reader over a period of time? If so, how long before it start losing its reading capabilities?

2. What is the way to keep the default timer (4 seconds to 30 seconds) to never expire so the RFID reader is always alive and awake and listening state?

Hi Syed, the Flomio SDK supports both the features you requested.

1. The FloJack and FloBLE are designed to run continuously with sufficient capable power sources. For details on this please refer to the following reports:

Continuous Scanning with FloBLE Plus

2. The Flomio SDK will take care of operating the FloJack and FloBLE continuously while your application is in the foreground of your host device. For further power options when your app goes into the background, you should set the Power Operation config parameter correctly. More details here.
