Do I need to purchase a pro license for each reader? I am currently researching different readers for a 50+ tablet project.

As it stands, yes. It’s one pro license per reader. We sell licenses in bulk though for larger deployments. Here are the price tiers for that:

Pro
Flomio SDK @ 15 licenses $1,500.00
Flomio SDK @ 100 licenses $6,000.00
Flomio SDK @ 1000 licenses $30,000.00
