Setting Custom ID

Is there a way to set the reader’s custom id using the Flomio SDK (Beta?) I see that I can set it by using the ACRAudioJackReader directly, but, since I am using the ReaderManager and Reader interfaces instead, I’d like a way to get/set the custom id from those interfaces.

Here’s the context … I would like to have the reader and a simple app that reads UUIDs set up on one mobile device, and have the reader broadcast an “application id” to Android devices so that an Android device placed on the reader will recognize that “application id” and respond.

If I’m on the wrong track with trying to use the “custom id”, guidance on how to achieve the above is much appreciated, thanks.
