Some kind of joke?

I really thought it was some kind of joke when I got an email from Flomio today, telling me that my order was getting ready to ship.
I backed the kickstarter in 2012!!
I’d like to think myself a fairly forgiving person but a 3 year kickstarter with little communication within at least the last year is really quite unforgivable.
Mobile devices have gone through generations of change since you started your kickstarter, pretty much declaring your original project very null.
I’m not happy, not happy at all.

Hi Andrew, I appreciate you taking the time to give us your feedback. Definitely not our best performance but we are committed to getting better and not giving up on those that gave us a chance when we had nothing. We have done a piss poor job of keeping our community abreast of our challenges and understand the frustrations you must have experienced because of it. My mom always said “No news is good news”, but in this case the opposite is true. I wrote this piece that got picked up by WIRED last year about some of the rough patches the company has gone through, in case you’re interested.

I hope to be able to exceed your expectations with our new products coming down the pipeline. We will indeed try our best.
