Hi,
I just got the Flomio BZR and I’m testing the hardware with the iOS test app provided by Flomio. I’m trying to read Type 2 tags that I know have data in the user memory but the test app isnt picking up the data. Its only picking up the UID.
Is there something special I need to do to be able to?
Thanks,
Suraj
Hi Suraj,
You will have to manually send APDUs to read data using the Flomio BZR. As explained in this post: Flojack BZR: Write ID to tag it can be quite a pain sending APDUs to the BZR.
The other option is that our SDK currently only supports reading memory, specifically NDEF formatted data, using the FloBLE Plus. This is a lot easier, and is as simple as changing the settings from UUID to Reading Data and then tapping the tag.
You will be happy to hear that I am currently working on adding this using the BZR but it may be a short while before it’s complete.
