I saw your Youtube video to show how to plug the flojack to the phone.
Is there a particular way to unplug it (without damage)?
Do i have to close the app in order to be sure flojack is off?
Is it better to ‘kill’ the app (from multitask bar)?
I would not want to unplug it as it is not yet off as suppose?
Hi Nicolas, the FloJack is sturdy and won’t be damaged by plugging and unplugging it (we worked hard to make sure of this). You don’t have to close the app in order for the FloJack to turn off. The FloJack is expecting a recurring wake message from the Host device (and app) in order to stake awake, otherwise it just goes to sleep. Depending on how you program your FloJack SDK app you can make it allow the FloJack to go to sleep in states where NFC tags aren’t being scanned and then wake it back up once scans are expected. Again, this is just a method of preserving battery life.
