Tagged: FloJack, NFC Patch Kit, Tag Performance
Hi there,
Can you suggest a few NFC sticker chips that work best (highly sensitive) with the Flomio jack. I just purchased the jack and would like to test it with your suggested NFC sticker chips.
Thanks,
Rilwan
Hi Rilwan, the most effective tag reads with the FloJack are with the NFC Action Cards and the 40mm round NFC Stickers. More details in this video:
It’s a stress test on the NFC Patch Kit, one of our flagship products, but the sensitivity of the antenna is similar to that of the FloJack’s.
Hey Richard,
What inlay is in the 40mm round NFC stickers? What are the specs for that inlay?
On a separate note, if I positioned this NFC sticker side by side with an RFID sticker, would the presence of the RFID sticker affect the readability of the NFC sticker by Flojack? Like wise, would the presence of this NFC sticker affect the readability of the RFID sticker by my RFID reader?
Thanks,
Rilwan
Check the NFC Sticker product page for more details on the tag specs… here they are for your convenience:
RF TECH 14443 A
TAG TYPE Mifare Ultralight
STORAGE CAPACITY 64 bytes
MATERIAL Art paper, printed with glossy finish
NFC stickers placed beside RFID stickers may be desensitized. This will vary from case to case and depends on the near field aspects of the RFID tag as well as it’s frequency band of operation. That said, there are dual interface tags of this type on the market so with a better understanding of what you’re trying to achieve we can point you to the right vendor or design a custom solution for it.
Thanks,
Richard
Hey Richard,
Is there an email or phone number I can call to talk some more about what I’m trying to do? I’m not comfortable sharing the details of my application on this public forum.
Thanks,
Rilwan
Sure thing.. you can find our contact info on the About page. Call or email.
Best,
Richard
