I ordered your reader floBLE version plus, but I just receive the ACR1255U-J1.
I ordered floBLE plus because I need to read tag ISO 15693, is that correct?
Please get in touch.
Luca
Hi Luca, you received the right order. The FloBLE Plus and the ACR1255U-J1 are hardware equals. The only difference between them is the Flomio SDK. The FloBLE Plus price includes a license to the Flomio SDK Basic to allow you to build apps quickly without needing to write a bunch of boilerplate code.
Unfortunately, nor the FloBLE Plus or the ACR1255U-J1 are capable of reading ISO15693 tags. This was an error in the product description of the FloBLE Plus, which I now have fixed. If you need to read ISO15693 tag then the FloBLE Mini is your only option. That being said, the firmware for the Mini is still in beta and we only support reading UUIDs off of ISO15693 cards.
Since we made the mistake of describing the product incorrectly, you’re entitled to a full refund. Please ship back the FloBLE Plus using regular mail to this address:

Send a picture of the shipping receipt with tracking info and cost to info at flomio dot com and I’ll PayPal you the funds to cover it. I’m terribly sorry for having wasted your time and hope you consider the Mini option despite the prototype price. Once we’re able to productize the design, it will be priced around $20.
thanks,
Richard
Luca, we received your return. Thanks for taking the time (and money) to ship it back to us. We’ve issued your refund (PayPal transaction 97V786910T565972E) We hope you will consider the FloBLE Mini as a replacement device. It’s still in development so prototypes are more expensive than our production products but we expect to get into production with the Mini sometime this year.
best,
Richard
