Apple NFC Alternative

Hi there,

We’re looking to create a solution that allows users to use either an NFC enabled Android device, an NFC card, or an iPhone (via Wallet) to “touch” into a wall mounted Android tablet and interacts with an Android app.

Does anyone know of a solution that solves the challenge of the currently closed Apple NFC API -for example a combined NFC and close proximity beacon?

We’re looking to pilot across 50 sites in the UK, with a roll-out to 1,500.
