Cordova Hybrid App

Hello,

We currently have a cordova hybrid app that processes credit cards by manually entering the card info. We are looking for a device which will allow us to swipe the credit card instead to process more efficiently.

Any recommendations? We are primarily looking to support Android devices for now but are looking for devices with cordova plugins available.

Hi Renee, the readers that we sell and support with Cordova on Android are not capable of reading magnetic swipe cards, only NFC/contactless cards. We do sell the FloJack MSR which has swiping capability but this product is being phased out so we aren’t building out more software support for it. You can use the basic driver from here to build out the Cordova plugin yourself if you’d like.
