We intend to use the Flomio hardware for entrance scanning at fairs and conferences (iPhones and iPods).
– Ive looked at the github repo (https://github.com/flomio/flomio_ios) and wondering which library and sample app i can use with the FloJack BZR?
– Is there going to be trouble if I implement the basic library first in our iOS-app and later upgrade for the pro-version? I have a tight budget until I can verify that all this works as intended.
– Which FloJack do you think is the best for us? We basically will just read the UUID and send it to our servers. It just need to be fast and able to read many different tags. (Im new to the NFC-technology). I bought the cheapest one to start testing with.
Hi Erik,
The library to use is the Flomio SDK v2.0 or try the beta the Flomio SDK v2.1.
There will be no issue with updated to the pro SDK, it’s as simple as dragging in a new library.
Between the audiojack readers, the Flojack MSR is slightly quicker than the Flojack BZR so I would recommend the MSR. For completeness, the FloBLE Plus is a Bluetooth reader we stock and is quicker and more reliable again.
Cheers,
Scott
