Tagged: ARC35, iOS, NFC, not working, Reads
Using the AudioJackDemo App I have to reset the reader, power it on, then transmit a command in order to get a response. I tried implementing this functionality in my application but it is very inconsistent. What is the best way to get consistent reads from the ACR35 reader using an iOS app? Code would be gladly appreciated.
Hi Poze, the ACR35 –like many of the low-cost readers we sell– is very particular in how it behaves and requires a lot of extra code to make it read consistently. We offer the Flomio SDK to provide extra support for developers who want to integrate these readers quickly. The SDK is a library that drops right into your Xcode project and makes delegate callbacks once event happen (eg tags are scanned). If you rather code this up yourself, you can ask us specific questions here in this forum and we’ll gladly help you along to get your code to deliver a more consistent experience.
thanks,
Richard
Thanks for your response Richard. Does the ACR35 include the Flomio SDK with purchase?
No, the ACR35 is an OEM product delivered as is from factory. The FloJack MSR is the version of that device that includes the Flomio SDK.
best,
Richard
