FloJack Gen2 : UHF RFID Reader w/ SDK

RFID is revolutionizing the supply chain. It is a powerful tool, especially when it can be used broadly in an organization. Until now, RFID use has been limited because of high system cost, industrial appearance and closed development.

FloJack Gen2 breaks this barrier with smartphone RFID that’s sleek, attractive and economical. Built by UGrokIt, the reader works with smartphones and tablets that are already in your people’s hands. Don’t be content to keep RFID in the warehouse – now you can locate items on the sales floor, reduce loss and enhance the customer experience in the way that only RFID can do. And Small and Medium businesses now can take advantage of RFID with easy to use and affordable solutions.

FloJack Gen2 brings the power of UHF Gen 2 RFID to iOS and Android devices and Windows 8 tablets, with the same lightweight, cheap, battery-less tags being used in the supply chain. With a range of 6′-10′ (2-3m), up to 25′ (7m) in ideal conditions, use the FloJack Gen2 to:

  • Identify – What is it?
  • Locate – Where is it? Track –
  • What do I know about it?
  • Inventory – What do I have?

The FloJack Gen2 and the UGrokIt reader are hardware equals. However, only FloJack Gen2 will work with the Flomio SDK and derived applications. The Flomio SDK is available in two (2) versions: Basic and Pro. The Basic version (included) checks online for valid usage license on every scan. The Pro version (upgrade here) works completely offline for unlimited use. A special SDK library will be provided so Pro customers can create their apps for offline use.
